For this collection I wanted to go back to my techniques from the days, many moons ago, when I first started out as a textile designer. Long before digital printing and photoshop, everything was laboriously hand painted and I used only inks, brushes and gouache, textile artists spent years getting their techniques & colours correct. I loved it as the true signature style of the designer came through, no hiding behind photoshop or filters. My ‘Flower Flash’ collection celebrates that; honest, good design!
