Susannagh Grogan’s idea for this collection came from the perfect picnics in the literature of her childhood,
which depicted sunny days in grassy meadows or beaches with cool breezes and sea swims, a happy group armed with pop, sketch pads and picnic hampers whiling away long lazy afternoons.
This contrasted with Susannagh’s actual childhood memories of imperfect picnics, sandy sandwiches, dropped ice creams, zipped towelling swimsuits, bickering siblings and soggy dogs happily spent on the coast of Wexford, Ireland.
New for this season was the introduction of a twilly shaped scarf. This collection featured in Brown Thomas’ spring window display – a lovely surprise walking down Grafton street in Dublin one rainy day.
